First impression: Realme C12 and C15

Ever since Realme, a sub-brand of Chinese mobile phone maker Oppo, was launched in Indian, it has witnessed a dramatic growth. It almost dominated the lower and middle segment. Therefore, the Chinese giant keeps launching new devices in Indian market to provide options for buyers. Recently, the company came up with two entry level devices ~ C12 and C15. Lets see what they have in their kitty:

Realme C15

Display and design
Realme C15 comes with a geometric gradient design pattern. The trapezoid on the back cover of the smartphones divides it into three areas with different angles of lines, each bringing out a different colour gradient. In terms of display it is equipped with a 6.5” HD+ Mini-drop fullscreen display and 20:9 aspect ratio. It offers a larger field of view and provides excellent gaming, audio and video experience.

Camera
The realme C15 is the first C-series smartphone to feature a quad-camera. It has a 13MP primary camera, 8MP Ultra-wide-angle lens, 2 MP B&W lens and 2MP Retro lens. It also has the nightscape mode that makes the realme C15 one of the best night-shooters in this price segment. The phone is equipped with an 8MP selfie camera.

Battery
The realme C15 comes with an 18W fast charger (charger in the box), which can charge the phone to 25 per cent of 6000mAh in 30 mins.

Storage
The device come ]s in two memory variants, 3+32GB and 4+64GB, and is equipped with 3-card slots for two SIM cards and one SD card (expandable up to 256GB).

Realme C12

Design
Like C 15, in C 12, Realme followed the geometric gradient design pattern. Even the display is similar. The device is equipped with a 6.5” HD+ Mini-drop fullscreen display and 20:9 aspect ratio.

Camera

The realme C12 features a 13MP AI triple camera with a 5MP front camera. The primary camera comes up with an f/2.2 large aperture that can secure enough light and capture bright images. It also boasts portrait mode and slow-motion video recording.

Battery
The device comes with a 6000 mAh battery along with a 10W charger in the box.  According to realme Lab tests, the realme C15 and C12 can last for 57 days in standby mode. Both smartphones also support the special OTG reverse charge feature.


Memory storage
The realme C12 will be available in a single variant, 3+32GB and has 3-card slots for two SIM cards and one SD card (up to 256GB).

Processor
C 12 is also equipped with MediaTek Helio G35 processor and runs on Android 10 and ColorOS 7.

Other features
Both the devices~ realme C12 and realme C15 support ultra-fast fingerprint unlocking, along with facial recognition, making it convenient to unlock the smartphones with a single click or glance.

Price and availability
Priced at Rs. 8,999, the device will go on sale from 24 August.


Colours
Both, realme C12 and realme C15 will be available in two colours – Power Blue and Power Silver.
